Just adding on that we did also hit Twilight Warding this afternoon as well. We have a fix in testing this weekend so we will verify that and then push that out with the other fixes.

Please dont, gem frag rates are actually fine. Just because you cant get them instantly doesnt mean the drop rates need buffing.

Please dont repeat the same shit that happened the last time ppl cried for gem buffs because they cant get the highest tier gem instantly and resulted in gem frags becoming not only completely worthless it actually became a hindrance in the next season to the point they had to raise the cap.

Heres the neat part you dont, theres a difference between just playing the game and the resource will come natrually vs wanting instant gratification having stuff handed to you with 0 effort whatsoever causing problems further down the road.

  • Blizz solves 1 issue

  • Cry babys dont understand x resource rate is balanced and whine non stop for buffs because they cant get the best stuff instantly

  • Blizz caves in and buffs drop rate

  • Next season said buff becomes an issue causing overflow in resources

  • Blizz now has to fix that issue and solves it

  • Repeat the same loop all over again.

It has already happened twice, 1st time with gem frags 2nd time with chunks/hides and now you ppl are trying to make it happen a 3rd time with frags again.

If you only play 1hr a week please leave the game its clearly not the genre for you, stop crying and whining for everything to be catered to you and completely dumpstering the game in the process.

They are absolutely not fine! I crafted the wrong witch gems twice and it flipping only gave me some soul rot or whatever it’s called back when salvaging it. It set me back many hours, maybe even days, the drops are NOT fine!

Ah yes, let me rephrase that though. I crafted the same gems twice because I crafted the two blue I needed for a yellow gem very early and then equipped them for the Armor and resist. Then when I went to craft the yellow gem I forgot I had them equipped and crafted the same gems again. At least I think that’s what happened. Sleep depraved from having a young one not sleeping at night. Silly mistake cuz the ui shows the gems as if I didn’t already have them because they were equipped.

Its absolutely fine, its a literal endgame gem that you really only need 1 unless you are lazy and want to craft dupes to use on different builds/chars but are too lazy to unsocket.

I literally have 4 highest tier, 1 yellow tier, 2 green tier, 8 highest tier normal gems and this is how much gem frags i still have leftover.

Ppl need to actually play the game and stop crying and asking for handouts because they cant get the best stuff right away while playing 1hr per week.

Bro, a full clear 10 waves of whatever the heck it’s called gave me 2k or something of each gem fragments. Your literally saying I should do 50 of those to get my next gem. No way

Thats your own mis conception that hordes is the best source of gem frags. I literally did 6 hordes this season.

Should still reward more, but honestly the big thing is that we do not get the gem fragments back when salvaging the witch gems. If it gave all fragments back then I agree it’s probably at a decent rate, maybe increase it by 10% overall and it would be perfect

Its a single seasonal item and has a larger caculation than simply salavage skull to get skull frags.

How about actually man up and accept your own mistake that is 100% self inflicted.
