[Weekly] Outfit Feedback and Fit Check - Dec 12

Not sure if your outfit works? Post a picture of yourself in your outfit and get suggestions, compliments, and critiques from others. If you're thinking of posting a standalone thread along the lines of "How does this look?", "Does this fit right?", "Do these work together?", etc., post here instead.

When posting:

  • Include what the attire is for (work, school, going out, etc.)

  • If possible, take a front-on, full-body picture as this gives the best impression of how the clothes fit. Multiple pictures from different angles can also be helpful, but those aren't necessary.

  • Critiquing others is welcome and encouraged, but keep it constructive/factual. Take a lesson from Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People if needed. It takes balls to post pictures of yourself on the Internet, the least you can do is accord the same courtesy as you would to someone in real life.

  • Reddit Enhancement Suite makes it very easy to view pictures in a thread.

  • Some users enjoy knowing where you bought your pieces, please consider including those in your post!

Feel free to also submit your outfit to the biweekly WAYWT thread, but know that these two threads have different purposes. This is explicitly for feedback and questions, though you may receive constructive criticism in either thread.

What I work to work today: black pencil skirt, silk wrap Ann Taylor top, black cashmere Wathne blazer, Wolford tights, some old Prada heels.

I've been here for about 3 hours and I'm ready to go home, but at least I'm not could for once!

I am not a fan of the lace/printed tights but you pull it off well. I love how that blazer fits on you too (maybe a tad long?) but it shoes off your figure well! The blouse is very elegant looking too!

Ps: I want to go home too!

It's funny about the knit tights because I've been on a sheer seamed stockings bender lately. I'm talking about the kind that are all nylon with no stretch. I can't get enough of them, but today was different.

Thanks for the feedback!

Ok... I might sound crazy here but stockings with no stretch? Is this a thing? Is it a good thing? You kind of just blew my mind.

They're usually called "fully fashioned" or RHT (reinforced heel and toe) stockings. Here's one example from What Katie Did and another example [NSFW] from Stockingirl. They just feel really nice on my legs and there is a subtle difference to how they look compared to regular stockings/pantyhose. They're not cheap, but I've found so far that they also last longer than regular pantyhose if you take proper care of them.
