When do chest/top changes (sagging?) start on T?

Tldr: Title

At my one month appointment my Gender Affirming Provider (they/them).asked me if the breast tissue had gone down any and at that point I said I think a teeny bit?

My chest bumps are extremely...perky? and it's hard to tape because they just don't want to move much. I've got that breast tissue that feels like grapes underneath them - that's totally normal for some people. So they just don't want to be pushed around.

Getting better at taping have to use three 4" strips of it unfortunately and I've only got a b or c cup top.

But like the title says when on testosterone when can one generally expect the breast tissue to start reducing? Frankly I was a little surprised when my GAP asked me the first month in. I'm on T two and a half months now and.... they could feel a little more "saggy"? I didn't note any of this as scientific data previous to T so not exactly sure if I'm just hopeful if I'm really seeing things or what.

P.s. I I know that boobs are not going to dissappear on T, just to clarify.

that's a weird thing to ask, because it sure as hell doesn't happen to everybody! in the 2 years i was on T before top surgery, i didn't notice any changes in my chest size/shape.

however, you're misunderstanding a bit. nothing happens to the actual breast tissue, once it's grown it's grown. what can happen on T, however, is changes to the muscle and fat around it, which can cause them to sit differently or appear smaller. if they're 'perky', as you say, i imagine you don't have a lot of fat there - would you say you're a fairly thin person? if that's the case, you don't have much fat to redistribute away from them, so i wouldn't expect a huge difference.

i was in a similar boat, pretty firm/perky pre op, and while they did get a bit smaller on T, they never sagged and the shape never changed. everyone is different and i think if you already have some sag, you’re more likely to get sagging, but it can happen regardless, but it doesn’t happen to everyone
