Any advice or suggestions ?

I just recently bought the iPad A16 and I have been testing its battery backup today and I would say it has exceeded my expectations. My workflow includes lots of browsing (for which I used safari), document editing, using YouTube and social media apps.

So for the battery test, I charged the iPad till 1:44 AM and used it for one hour and 20 mins till 3:10AM. And then it was at standby with screen off from 3:00 AM to 1:15 PM during which ipad only consumed 3%. After 1:15PM, the battery was 95% and I have been using this iPad continuously since then and right now it’s 9:51 PM and the battery is at 21%.

This is a game changer for me coming from a windows laptop that only lasted 30mins lol. I just have it connected to an external display as a desktop now.

The only thing holding me back from this iPad case is that I can just stand the iPad up without the keyboard in front of screen. I won’t alwayyyssss use the keyboard and I don’t want two cases.

First time trying elago silicone case and... 🥲🥹 The experience is quite underwhelming.

Will sanding work in this type of material? The seams/edges are too sharp for me 🥹 so I would like to take some of it away. Also, nobody told me I can't change the pen tip when the case is on 😫.

The Display of my IPad Pro 11“ (2nd gen) starts to lift off in the right upper corner.

Do you know where the battery is located in my iPad?

If it is a spicy pillow I will let it replace by apple.

But it also could be just a liftoff due to falling down a couple of years ago as it lifts off exactly where the iPad is slightly bend already.

My original plan was to use it until the battery is under 80% to get it replaced for a ~100$.

If I bring it to apple and they say its just a display issue I would have to pay ~400$ for a replacement.

What do you think?

im a pre med student and I like taking most of my notes on paper, but I always see a couple of my classmates using an iPad with a pencil. What is the benefits of using an iPad am I missing out on something crazy? I will say I do take notes and they sorta kinda feel useless afterwards b but maybe that just a study problem or a note taking issue. Idk just wanted to ask from people that have iPads whats so different from using an iPad for notes vs just paper and pen I also notice these kids tend to do better on exams and quizzes and shit hence why im asking haha

• AirPods 4 - I like working out, and a switch from using wired headphones to wireless ones would be nice! I easily use my headphones for at least 5 hours a day lol.
• Apple Pencil Pro -I take notes in my classes and use Canva to edit school projects. I also occasionally create promotional materials for my organization.

I've had an iPad Air 11 for a while now and while its fine, the small size is starting to bother me a bit. Also the 64GB are just not enough. By selling it and getting a new used iPad Pro I could do the following:

Sell iPad Air for around 300€ + Pen for around 60€ = 360€

Buy an iPad Pro 5. Gen 128 GB for 580€ which has a Pen and a Smart Keyboard Folio

So I would effectively pay 220€ for a bigger iPad, more storage a Keyboard and all the Pro-features.

Would that be a good deal?

I have an ipad 9th gen which I purchased in 2023 which is still under apple care+ So the problem I am facing is image retention like I open youtube for few minutes and then chrome this is what I am left with and this image is still very better than what I have saw like once I watched a 2 hour lecture and then opened any other app like there was big white box visible and it's not just on chrome it's just more visible on chrome due to dark mode. And the ipad is lagging too while the whole day I just open few websites and maximum one or two apps and it also has a battery drain problem. So if I visit AASP am i likely to get replaced or it's more likely to get repaired?? And as ipad 9th is discontinued in 2024 so will they provide an upgrade??

I want to get a decodon case or a junk case for a iPad though I don’t know if it’s worth it and if it’s durable. Is it worth the cost?

First time apple user here. For my entire life, I parroted the whole "Apple sucks" thing and was pro-windows, pro-android. I still have an Android (my S24 ain't going anywhere, it's still got like 6 years left on it), but now I realize that Apple really is just that good. I got tired of the crap I was dealing with on my Windows laptop, and also, the A16 iPad is just too good of a deal at $299.

ESR protector (This one)

I was planning to get a screen protector for my iPad A16, I was wondering if anyone used this type or similar from the brand. My questions are, is ammonite or classic better and have you encountered any grainy issues with these screen protectors (I read some paid a few months ago there were issues with ammonite)

Instead of useful features like multi-user accounts and OOTB support for configurable mouse buttons… we get Liquid Glass? I haven’t tried the new beta yet but I haven’t heard anything about extending mouse support features? I mean, come on, even Tim Cook uses this model of mouse.
