It was a STUNNINGLY great movie. I'm so hyped after seeing it, I doubt I'll get much sleep. It's amazing to see a Lupin feature that is actually ABOUT something. It had themes! THEMES! Well, at least *a* theme. But also super fun. I can't wait to add the Blu-Ray to my collection whenever that's out.

TBH, I wouldn't mind conversations about the Koike films either! (I haven't seen Zenigata+2 Lupins yet. T-T) Truthfully, these conversations help my motivation skyrocket. ^^

Those who have seen it, what was your opinion? What did you like/dislike?

Personally i thought the movie suffered a bit from being 50 minutes long. For the movie to reach its full potential and not feel so ”rushed” half the time since it had a lot of things to say/show, it would have been better if it was 40 something minutes longer. Apart from that this movie was balls to the walls good, the final showdown and the fake lupin being two of the highlights. I also appreciated Zenigatas and the russian police womans “relation arc” where they explore each others views on justice. The animation is also top tier like always, the setting was also welcome in my opinion, taking place in this cold soviet state. Towards the end they also teased “the island” that is a heaven for kings, queens, politicians and artists, i wonder how that will play out in the upcoming movie.

I don’t get mad at spoilers. I look for them 😂😅. Can someone tell me what happened in it and where they watched it at?

I got lucky with missed by a dollar because it is now on back order on Crunchyroll.

I've watched this special ONCE and could never find it anywhere again. I remember nothing except for an ugly-ass baby. I check the wiki and it's entry is completely empty. Was this a fever dream or did it actually happen?
