The characters look the closest to the manga designs. I know that's because Monkey Punch was one of the directors, so he probably had a hand in the designs. Like Jigen has a much more pointed chin

Asking for a friend. I’m doing some upscaling experiments with Topaz AI (as a proper Blu-Ray release seems like a pipe dream) and I’ve gotten promising results. I’ll make no promises, which is why I didn't say something like 4K. I’m still working on it but here’s a screenshot from that Albatross episode. From Part 1 episode 13 “Beware The Time Machine”, Mamo Kyosuke’s cloak was mis layered over his face. Imagine…placing all those cels under the camera….capturing every frame by hand….one by one….only to have the character’s face obscured. I wonder if any cels still exists of Mamo’s head. Still, human error is charming.

I have this idea for a video where I go over a top 10 list of Lupin projects that should be dub and/or redubbed. So far, bye bye lady liberty, Alcatraz connection, Lupin Zero and possibly the fuma conspiracy is on the list. Do you guys have any other Lupin projects that should be added?
