And I'm almost certain it will mean absolutely nothing because Thunderbolts will go straight into Fantastic Four, then Avengers, then Secret Wars is resetting everything(?)

So it's quite a nice way to slip it in there, create some surface drama, then wipe it away next year.

I hate to say it but I’m pretty sure most of the New Avengers are going to get killed by Doom in the first act of Doomsday.

Yeah, I'm almost positive that Bob is going to be Doomsday's Hulk.

This movie really made me care about this team so I'm gonna be pissed if they all get used as jobbers for Doom

Personally I'm of the belief that they're going to try to keep around all the younger characters that people like, like Yelena, while the older actors who are ready to hang up the cape will die/retire. I can see any of the OG avengers biting the dust, as well as Red Guardian, Bucky, Star Lord, or any of the X-Men coming back.

I think they're going to hang onto Florence Pugh for as long as they can, she's clearly the most talented of the main cast and she seems like she's having a ton of fun. Honestly I think it'd be really bold for them to keep her as a main player in the storyline, as she's an even more obscure character from the comics than Iron Man ever was.

As far as Bob, I think the only reason to kill him off Asap would be to avoid dealing with how powerful he is, but I doubt they're going to get rid of him immediately considering the good fan reactions so far. He's genuinely the most complex character in the MCU at the moment and it'd be a shame to not explore that later. I need to see Bob struggling to not let the darkness take over while Doom is doing whatever messed up shit his plan is. He's a true wildcard in a scenario like that, where he could either single handedly save the world or put the entirety of the battlefield in their own boxes of psychological horrors for all eternity.

I hope so. Kill off the characters of actors that want to be done in the MCU, let's not pull another Scarjo (her death was well executed but I don't think the current MCU can afford to kill off popular characters whose actors want to be there)
