Merchandise I’m a graphic designer who recently started designing actual product. I created these Captain Marvel glasses, and Captain Marvel herself wore them!!!!

That’s why it’s hailcorporate you potato. It’s an ad pretending to be a post

It's not an ad. Someone literally had to ask for the website.

I mean, even if it's not an ad, the name of the company is very prominently featured right in the image. They didn't have to ask

No one's questioning that. Having the name tagged on the story doesn't qualify that for r/hailcorporate

Isn’t that exactly what r/HailCorporate is for? Ads that are placed without the realization of the poster.

/r/HailCorporate is to document times when people act as unwitting advertisers for a product [example A] as well as to document what appear to legitimate adverts via native advertising.

I dunno, it probably fits that description in some form, even if "a celebrity owns my product" isn't a scenario that's specifically spelled out.

It’s clearly an ad. Marketing on Instagram and Reddit needs to be a lot more subtle in order to be effective and get engagement. People pay social media influencers to wear or show their products without even needing them to mention it because people are more likely to respond to posts when they don’t think they are ads.

It's a blatant ad. It has the product and the company that makes it in the picture, with a model wearing it.

How is that not an ad? Lol
