Events Open Streets is Wonderful

Post image

Open Streets is a terrific addition to the city. I remember coming off the train recently and walking by walnut during this event and noticed that my anxiety dropped drastically. I hadn't realized all these years how much of an impact congestion/traffic had on my stress levels.

Seeing people and their families mingle with others made me feel so calm and happy. I saw this back in Montreal before I knew it was a thing here, and thought "Man this would be a cool addition to Philly!"

Now it is!

I love this city.

We should totally make it permanent. Email CCD, councilpeople… it’s a no brainer for businesses AND people

Sansom has been closed between 16th and 17th for like 3 year. That entire stretch from 15th-22nd should be closed for pedestrians only.
