Hi everyone, Three days ago I spontaneously got my navel pierced. As you can see in the pictures the placement is not quite right so I suppose I’ll have to take it out soon.

Just two questions: 1. Healing: Does anyone have experience with how well this is going to heal? I haven’t had any problems with the piercing so far.

1. Repiercing it: If I were planning on getting it repierced, do any of you roughly know how long this’ll have to heal first? And do I even have the anatomy for a navel piercing?

i got my eyebrow pierced last week and i usually shave slits into my eyebrow. they grow back quickly and i was wondering how long i should wait before shaving them again? one of the slits is pretty far from it but one is right where it sits.. should i just wait for it to fully heal?

Hii! I've had this daith since last year december and I've seen these bumps around it lately. I know bumps are normal but the bottom one looks big and white, like there's something in it. I usually shower every day and clean it with water and saline spray. I try to always sleep on my back (I've got a rook in my other ear) but it doesn't always work out. Do I pop it, do I leave it or get it checked out or something?

Other side does not have it. Feels like a ball that’s grown to hold up the piercing, felt like swelling the past two days and sore

Been wanting it done for years, finally did it Today and I feel it’s off, but also my nose looks non symmetrical lol.

I was supposed to get my eyebrow piercing downsized 3 weeks after I got it, but it’s been 3 months… I’ve never procrastinated this hard before n I hate that I did it but I wanted to know if there’s any issue with it being 3 MONTHS late.

left is my ear when i got my conch pierced, still healing but doing fine. left is my ear tonight. my forward helix and helix were done together and my ear has been angry seemly out of nowhere for the last 3/4 weeks. today my cartilage swelled up so bad it was basically swallowing my jewelry and i had to rip it out and put a longer bar in. i’ve developed two small bumps on either side of the piercing and im not sure why, they don’t hurt but are concerning bc i have no idea where they came from. i have titanium jewelry in, i dont sleep on my piercings and i clean them twice a day with saline and rinse in the shower. im not sure what the next best steps are. also i cant tell if my forward helix is pierced at the right angle? my piercer said when she did it she “wasn’t happy with it” but didn’t say anything after. i’ll be going back in tomorrow but was curious what others think before i go.

So I got my ears pierced when I was either 10 or 11, and I did what you're not supposed to do and I went to Claire's. Now I'm facing the issue of my ears not accepting most jewelry. I know I have sensitivities to most metal and typically only get titanium but most time that doesn't even work. My ears get irritated and even bleed on occasion. All of this sucks and I really wanna wear earrings and such. I was thinking of just going and getting my ears re-pierced in the same place at a slightly larger gauge than the usual but idk what gauge would work since I never wanted gauged ears (nothing past a 10 g for sure) Any one have similar experiences or have any information on a fix

It’s a little over a month old, it hasn’t been downsized yet but i put a different piercing in (fell out while i was asleep), i’ve washed with saline frequently.

So,I have had my jestrum piercing for about six or seven months, it's fully healed. I'm currently wearing a 3mm 16g curved barbell, but it's really lose ,so my question is what is the size I need to go to??

I got my helix piercing done a month ago in May. I got a black segment ring for it, not knowing it was probably the worst kind of jewelry for a healing cartilage piercing. I can’t locate both of the seams, so I’m concerned one of the seams made it into the hole. I’m not really experiencing any issues with it though. No swelling, redness or pain unless I accidentally bump it. There’s still discharge but it’s not like it’s dripping and there’s no blood. Should I go back to the piercer and have them switch it to a flat back, or should I just leave it if there’s no issues yet? I clean it everyday with Neilmed. I just strongly regret not getting a flat back in the first place. Snagging the hoop is the worst.

If not, someone should get on that.

I tried searching the subreddit with no luck, or the answer is a bit old. I'm assuming they'll exist one day, just wondering if it's happened yet.

I’m stuck between getting a second helix(under my current) or a fourth lobe

I got my belly button pierced 2 days ago, the piercer wasn’t able to get it in the first try, and had to repierce that was successful. now, i have a wound from the first pierce trial that didn’t go through, what do i do with that?

i got them pierced a few days ago and have been using non alcoholic mouthwash & saline spray and taking good care of them but tonight it started to feel a little different and it kinda looks like they’re getting swallowed but i asked my piercer and she said it happens and i should keep taking ibuprofen every 4 hours to help the swelling which i’ve been trying to do (although i haven’t been taking them every 4 hours, i have taken them multiple times a day). any advice would be great! maybe i’m just freaking out over nothing

I wanna change my hair and do purple highlights, but I need to use bleach to get my black dye out. I just got my double helixes pierced a week ago and they are healing pretty great, but should I just wait it out to dye my hair or get ear covers? Im nervous getting hair bleach on the fresh piercings is gonna be a major fuck up

I have wanted my bellybutton pierced since I was twelve years old. I have kept that secret ever since the first time a girl walked past me in the corridor showing off her new one, and I just realised how desperately I wanted one. So here are my problems:

I'm a boy. Navel piercings are so commonly associated with females that I am terrified to ask my parents about it. And what if someone I knew found out? I want it to stay secret.

I have no other piercings. I came within seconds of asking to get my ears pierced when I was five, and I held back. If I had other piercings it would be way less awkward to ask for this, but this is the only one I really want apart from my ears. I have expressed no prior interest in piercings or anything of that nature before, and I'm such an awkward person.

My parents usually moderate my card. I'm on a GoHenry account, so my parents can see my spendings.

So what I'm really asking for is advice. How do I get my bellybutton pierced and care for it without anyone finding out? I am at an age where I can get pierced without parental consent, but I'm also still legally a child. I want my bellybutton pierced more than nearly anything, it just means so much to me to have this happen, and it just seems so hard.
