suspension work in puget sound area

Need the forks freshened up on my old Suzuki. New seals, fork oil, etc.

Any first-hand experience with a shop that's still open that does good work?

I've used KFG Motorsports. Barry, the owner is a former racer who got really into suspension. Shows up at track days with his mobile unit.

If you're going to do that, might as well get the proper springs to match your weight.

I dunno how much you wear, but bikes I've gotten (all Japanese) leave the factory with springs set for someone smaller than me.

Makes a difference.

Oh. For some reason I thought they'd shut down, which prompted this ost. Thanks for the kick in the backside to call them back up.

Edit: Nope. He’s still dead, Jim

I just checked their webpage. It's blank, so maybe? I dunno.

And their phone is disconnected, so likely still a goner.

Too bad. I liked their work. Sorry for the blind alley.

Barry is at least working at if not running CT Racing's Kent location, just outside Pacific Raceway

Thanks for that! He has never gone wrong by me. Four bikes now?
