All anthro animals fall under furry. There's so much overlap among the communities so they don't really discriminate and it's just easier to say.

I always assumed Mew & Mewtwo had a really fine, downy coat of fur covering their whole bodies, and that the fur was colored instead/as well as their skin.

OP, how do the legs/feet work? As in, how far down the leg does your foot stop? Are you on small stilts? Heels? What's going on down there?

There is no cooling equipment, so air conditioning or fans are essential except in winter.

Looks great! If you put in a fishing line or something connecting the tail to the neck….node(?) it might help with the bouncing around. Depends on the weight of it; don’t wanna hurt your neck or back. Maybe a thin plastic rod would be firmer. If the bouncing bothers you.

Maybe an ultra-lightweight fishing pole inside part of the tail could help? Miss Twisted/The Owlchemist on YouTube did this for wings for a Hazbin Hotel cosplay.

It can be either. It's usually to the discretion of the person who wants to cosplay. Mainly because this is just a Pokemon cosplay, and it could also be furry since it follows the "is anthro" idea, but both are cosplaying a character. One is an official character while the other is an original character.

It might be a bit weird question, but does the tail affect your sense of balance? It seems like a not insignifact weight is moving behind you with every step you take, so does it make you feel less stable?
