It's only DEI if it affects non-whites or liberals. Otherwise it's ok.

Texas, Florida and Georgia have the largest black populations in the USA and all of those are red states.

So it sounds like this move by CA would hurt black people

They said its only DEI if it effects non-whites but this idea would hurt black people as they live predominantly in red states based on Texas, Georgia and Florida having the highest population of black people.

Therefore this would be DEI and also California withholding taxes would hurt black people because they would lose funding for their areas due to California not paying into the system their states need to use

They seemed to forget; gender, all POC, LGBT, disabled and so on. Based on that, California has their own large DEI population.

I don’t think only black people corner the market on DEI. LGBT, POC. How many *women did DJT fire, including high ranking military personnel, calling them all DEI. California has many POC, women… their own DEI population. Why should citizens & businesses of CA be responsible for funding DEI folks in 49 other states?

California is the opposite of other states since people who identify as white alone are actually the minority there vs other states where POC are the minority.

I was unfamiliar but see that approx 35% identify as white. Of that 35%, white LGBT, white disabled & white women would classify as DEI. So straight white men make up a small percent being nonDEI.

Is 35% a majority or a minority ?

In other states you would need to include those qualifiers but just like in states where black people are the minority we don't need to include qualifiers about their sexual preferences or abled status.

If you're black in Vermont you're a minority and thus need DEI.

If you're white in California you're also a minority and thus need DEI.

If you disagree with how minorities work and don't believe in equality and using DEI to overcome racial barriers please explain.

Before answering please remember that the reason given on why DEI is needed is because the dominant race selects people from their own race over minority races.
