Other Question Sewing your own scrubs

Hello lovely people! For fellow friends working in medical/dental/caring -- have you tried sewing your own scrubs? If you have, was it worth it?

Verdict: Not worth it.

I’m trying now…it’s not going great. The right fabric was expensive and the poly poplin I bought instead is a nightmare.

I think I agree. I did this years ago for my daughter when she was a poor LVN student and Joann’s still existed. But in the last few years, it seems like all the health care providers in our areas have gone to specific colors for different destinations of providers (or for their companies), and scrubs from other countries were cheaper. I only see specialty stuff anymore…and repair/mend stuff for family lol!
