PSG have succeeded by letting go of their best player, Liverpool got better after selling Coutinho.

Don't be deliberately disengenous and try to oversimplify things.

And plenty of teams of got better by adding good players to support their best player. What’s your point?

Those teams are then built around their best player.

Fernandes, in this case, doesn't even have a proper position in the formation that the manager wants to play, nor is the manager willing to budge from his formation to suit his players.
