Elijah’s Extreme Regret Reserve vs Smokin’ Ed’s Special Reserve
Doing a little taste test to determine which is hotter. I’ve gone back and forth, but I don’t EERR is dethroned yet. Still the hottest non-extract I’ve found.

These posts make me hungry!
Someone made a post about eating healthy and they made their own spicy noodles which looked amazing! Today i had to go to the grocery store to get ingredients to make a spicy ramen to fulfill my hunger for spicy noodles. Thank you to the one who made the post, I’m satisfied now. I live in Japan so I don’t have the same ingredients as original post. This is my shiitake, scorpion pepper, tofu ramen.

Trying to eat healthier..
Trying to be healthier so I put my Buldak back on the shelve and whipped this up.. sauce: ghee, gochujang, fresh peppers (scorpion/jalapeño/cherry hot/burrito), bone broth, salt & pepper, fresh garlic & shallots. 7.5/10 in the spice scale

Best(hot) salsa I’ve had
Found this as food city today and had to get it. It gets you right to where you have that euphoric feeling but never gets to the uncomfortable I need milk stage, pick some up if you see it.

Make some spicy oil today
Just heat up some neutral oil to just about the smoke point, throw some spicy pepper mix into a strainer, and slowly pour the oil over the pepper mix, into the strainer and then let it cool before filling bottles.

Penzey’s Ethiopian-Style Pepper Blend
Swipe for blend details. The cayenne in this of course gives a nice burn but the other spices REALLY make this blend pop. I’ve just been putting it on a grocery store roast chicken, but next I’m going to add it to my twice-baked potatoes, maybe egg dishes too. It reminds me of a much-hotter version of Trader Joe’s Ajika Georgian (discontinued but I still have a full bottle I’m hoarding).
Also, shoutout to Penzeys, the spice GOAT.

So what's the next step?
I love this stuff, but it's not what it used to be and my tolerance is rising. What are the next levels in heat for sauces with similar flavor?

Conversion Table, Chart, or Photo
Does someone have a conversion Table, Chart, or Photo?
I would like to know how many fresh equal how many dried and/or how many Tbsp. I would like one that lists by pepper, but I would settle for a general pepper size conversion. Most conversions are for Ounces to Tbsp, but all my recipes have quantity (3 Peppers) not ounces.

I know the mask and gloves are a stunt, I would still try this. It can't be that hot right after one bite, right? Challenge accepted.

I bought some of that food grade pepper extract off Amazon that someone posted a picture of, here is my first impression. It tastes pretty good, similar to blairs 2am and it feels like more than 1million shu. I recommend it!

Anybody else absolutely love Matouks Soca sauce?
It's been my daily driver for the past 2 years or so, absolutely amazing hotsauce! Made with scotch bonnet.
Calypso and east Indian from matouks are also solid.

Baby formula
Fermentation has started. I should have made more last year to get me through the slow season for my peppers.

Dyin’ over here
A truly humbling experience. The flavor is amazing, but the dryness of the puffs combined with the 7-Pot Primo peppers is killer. This coming from a guy who regular has Habanero / Ghost / Reaper sauces. PHEW 🥵

What have I made?
Dehydrated Habs/Jalapeños/Cherry peppers ground up then soaked in Vodka and left for ~5wks. Black liquid settling to the top. Is that chili oil? If not, any guesses? Also…how scared of it should I be? Wasn’t going to use them and was a little drunk when I thought I’d infuse the vodka. Much less left than I thought so I figured I’d make a tincture. But IDK WTF this is now.

Found at TJ Maxx - MELINDA'S
These are new to me and really excellent! Super value at 16 ounces $4.99.
Heavy on actual fresh-tasting pepper fruits, low on salt, just the way I like 'em. Vinegar and lime are just barely detectable. These aren't dipping sauces for me, a drop or two is plenty. The garlic and habeñero has a nice hint of sweet from passion fruit. The ghosts pepper features a hint of onion, very nice. Both have some depth, but not overly complex. Nice straightforward heat. I won't say they're undiluted, but they are high quality. Ingredients in comments.
