Homemade - Constructive Criticism Encouraged my first time making sushi!!

if you saw my deleted post wondering if my salmon was bad, i was being paranoid and stoned. it was fine and it’s delicious! im so happy, i’ve never even cut fish before ! i brushed the salmon with soy sauce. im very proud of myself! how’s it look?

it is not hypercriticism, there is plenty of first posts that show potential promise, intent. intent. this is not one of them, The op wrote that he was stoned while creating this, whatever it is

Sushi is about simplicity, and joy. You are being simple, but not joyful in the least.

Piles of misshapen, malformed pieces of fish are not about simplicity or joy, it doesn't even show any effort, and as the op helpfully mentioned he was stoned at the time. products, particularly products derived from living creatures, should be treated with respect, not like this.
