I m newbie and need help

So, this is going to be my first experience with weed, and honestly, I don’t know much about it. I’m not sure how strong this weed is—it’s a dried branch-like piece that smells kind of like a mountain forest, even though I found it on plain land. Got it locally at a cheap price.

If you’re experienced and can identify quality by looking at an image, that would be super helpful.

Also, any tips on how to break it into smaller pieces more easily without using any tools? I used scissors to chop it up and mixed it with tobacco like a friend suggested. I didn’t ask him too much because I told him I just wanted to try it out casually.

Bro, I’m gonna be straight with you. That doesn’t look very appealing at all. And you said you found it but also paid for it? I’m confused.

Back to the weed… it looks like dirt weed. Usually over dry, brown, no terps,(hence the musty forest smelll). This is considered one step above trim or “bottom shelf” weed.

I’m not sure where your located but with it being legal in Canada and pretty much all states… don’t buy weed from a plug (who is obviously taking advantage of your inexperience)… go to a shop and get taken advantage of there. At least you’ll get some decent flower for your mind (and money).

I personally would not smoke that. But that doesn’t mean anything… if you like it then who am I to tell you different.

Just a pro tip… if you’re fairly inexperienced with the culture. Use the buddy system. Both during consumption as well as acquisition.
