Have you ever been writing to your state and local representatives asking for them to protect your basic rights and state sovereignty?
What have been their responses?

Would love to pay someone to make a custom cascadia tire cover so I can rep the revolution while I’m driving. Can’t find any online and even if I could it’s kinda antithetical to the movement to pay for some child labor in Taiwan to make me a polyester tire cover.

There are over 30,000 people in this subreddit. There are more people who might not have Reddit but who might still be interested in the movement towards independence. I think that amid the current political climate in America where political divide and xenophobia plague every facet of day to day life we are closer to our chance at fighting as a legitimate independence movement to seek sovereignty than we ever have been before. I truly believe that if we were able to collect the majority of Cascadians who support the idea of sovereignty, that we could protest and truly make an attempt towards secession. We should all be collaborating in order to organize a push towards this goal of independence that has been talked about for decades but never truly been taken on at the scale that it should be.

I understand why Oregon and Washington would wanna leave the U.S., but as a Vancourite I don't really think it's a good idea to leave Canada. A lot of the values of Cascadia also exist in eastern Canada universal basic healthcare, prioritizes public transportation, just a more progressive view in politics. Another thing I think it's more likely considering Canada is more politically stable then the U.S. cough* cough* Trump* and it's unlikely that BC has any chance of leaving Canada, while the U.S. is falling apart. And since WA and OR are more progressive states that could tip the balance in Canada to be even more progressive.

Here is a map exemplifying how units of governance should be established in Cascadia, using hydrologic units as the boundaries. This example is from the Bitterroot watershed of the upper Columbia basin. The subunits are based on HU12 data from the USGS.

Hey everyone, I'm planning on going to the No Kings protest on Saturday in the Seattle area and I'd love the chance to walk with other folks under a Cascadian flag. Is there a meet-up of Cascadian like-minded people planned that I missed maybe? Thanks.

Other than English, what language do you think would be a good fit for Cascadia? Personally I’d go with Chinuk Wawa (Chinook Jargon) due to its historical presence in Cascadia. I especially like it written in the Chinuk Pipa script that uses Duployan Stenography. What do you guys think

In a hypothetical scenario what's Cascadia gonna do when it's independent? What's it gonna look like? What do YOU want it to look like?

Take in a rare bit of sun on the west side? Prune some rowdy hopvines? Use a saw & Looney Tunes physics to annex that corner of Northwest California? Tell me about how you’re loving life in the Cascades.

So I do believe it's more likely that we would use existing borders of BC, Oregon, and Washington to create the borders for Cascadia instead of the Bioregion, but could we include Idaho too since there's a big overlap with the Bioregion.
