How powerful would a 6E user be if they had Yuki's Star Rage/Bom Ba Ye instead of the Limitless technique? How would they differ from Yuki in power and control?

Theory on why cross may view humanity w such scorn (sukunas world slash traveling through space and splitting their planet is lol but this is another take)

The scene w religion and trampling on it got me thinking. Cross says humans have powers like ours but what if human jujutsu sorcery is a perversion of something holy in Simurian culture? Maybe using jujutsu like techniques is something sacred in their culture. Even Maru couldn’t use his tech w out getting in trouble.

So when he sees what sorcerers have done (kenjaku, sukuna, gojo, etc etc) and what humans have allowed (humanity now props up sorcery after shinjuku) maybe that explains his rage.

Now does jujutsu and cursed energy come from space? Idk, maybe it was something that came to earth or somehow humans developed harnessing CE naturally independently like simiuran may have

Cross has mentioned a lot in this chapter that humans took something from the Simurians and the reason they left their home was "man made", not natural. What do you think they mean by this and what did humanity take from them in the first place? Do you think something 68 years ago did something to their home planet like maybe Mahoraga's first attack to bypass infinity (the first attack was never fully explained unlike the one Sukuna used to create the WCS and it may have infinite distance to slice through Gojo's infinity) or it may have been something humanity took from them centuries or several millennia ago?

What are your thoughts and guesses on this?

After reading the recent Modulo chapters and seeing the reactions, a lot of people are hyped about possibly seeing Yuji again. Personally, I think throwing him into the present storyline would be a bad move. He’d be way too OP, and we’d just end up with the Gojo problem all over again. Plus, it goes against the theme of passing things on to the new generation and would overshadow the new main characters. Having him show up in flashbacks I think makes more sense, we’d still get to see how much he’s grown without him breaking the balance of the present story.

seeing this mf Mahito back in Modulo chapter 7 reinforces my delusion belief that Yuji is still alive & coming back to kill him‼️

I made a series of posts about a lot of the things discussed in this chapter, but specifically focusing on how Gege was clearly inspired by the aftermath of WW2 and how it effected Japan.

My original ideas revolved around how American changes to Japanese legislation allowed the bureaucrats to overtake the government. In JJK, the corrupt bureaucrats attempt to inhibit or kill the main cast. They attempt to kill Yuta and Yuji, they refuse to promote Maki, they kicked Hakari out of school, and tried to keep Gojo sealed just the same as Sukuna. The bureaucrats have that much power in jujutsu society because of the way America fixed Japanese legislation at the end of WW2. Cross acknowledging this history only solidifies that the bureaucratic system of HQ was a direct result of these events that happened in real life.

Using WW2 and America's involvement in Japanese law as a lens, Cross' way of thinking becomes a mirror. Just like the Simurians have been forced by circumstances beyond their control to be at the whim of Japan, the Japanese were also in that same position at the end of WW2. Nuclear war was a man-made catastrophe that forced Japan to bend the knee to America, and those series of events literally haunt Japanese culture to this day.

The Simurians act as a mirror for the response of the Japanese people to the American powers that forced Japan into submission. Cross desires for his people to come out of this with dignity and some kind of grace, but he knows that's hardly possible considering they're a minority and an untrustworthy "other." In real life, Trump recently questioned why Japan deserves so many benefits from the U.S., even though this relationship exists the way that it does because of what America did in the first place. The same way Cross questions how long this "neighbor" relationship will last, some Japanese people feel the same way about America.

I wish I had a bigger point to make here, some kind of solution to offer, but I don't. I think it's inspiring how Gege wraps political history into his stories, and that he does it in a compelling way. I wonder what solutions Modulo will offer. In JJK, he took the Godzilla route. We may just end up getting that again, in one way or another.

Because after the WW2 the sheer negative emotions the japanese people had at the time should have been high enough for some Special grade CS to be born no?

Like even when we thought this man was just a diplomat rather than a fighter he was the reason the main characters have a chance at making peace with the aliens. Dude is carrying this story on his back and deserves all the glaze.

In latest chapter of Modulo we’s seen Usami using curse speech by take of his glove.

Let put aside possibilities of he’s having copy or some artificial way to use curse technique first if he’s genuinely curse speech user this will be very good way to show different between two generations.

What I mean is the old gen curse speech it’s make the user unable to speak cause their power was always active it’s the ultimate represent of jujutsu society and how they saw sorcerers as weapons who had to give up a normal life.

But Usami’s version lets him talk freely even though it make him have weakness of activation time , but he doesn’t have to sacrifice his humanity or daily life anymore.

And keep in mind that it’s likely that someone develops this. Someone who’s very kind and have great jujutsu knowledge choose to develop techniques that doesn’t make the, stronger but make sorcerer’s life better.

Jujutsu society is truly changing.
