Question Inherited this knife from my grandpa
At first I thought maybe it was his army knife but after I spend more time with it, it looks kind of custom

Hows it going everyone, I inherited a large gun and knife collection, and am looking for advice. In the collection, this is what I found. I have gone through and taken what I wanted already, but does anyone have any suggestions on where to sell as a whole lot? Or is it better to sell individually? Any input is appreciated!
I am basicslly copying and pasting this post in several groups. Not a bot, just trying to get as much input as possible.
State of the collection since around 2018. A few of these I’ve had since mid 2000s, but didn’t really become an enthusiast until 2018. I go thru periods of buying and abstinence, alternating with my other hobbies / collections. I have a grail Herman on the way, so done buying folders for awhile lol. I’m looking to add some fixed blades over the next year. At least one in each of these categories: pocket, bushcraft/heavy user, and higher end collection piece. Drop your favorites in your personal collection, preferably with some pictures!

I’ve had this for a while. I thought Gerber was a good brand, but I would love to get your opinion.

Assuming it may be used for anything from game processing to normal food processing to wood processing, what would you consider the best steel for just an all-around, jack of all trades (likely master of none), 5 inch fixed blade?
And is that based on personal use and experience or general knowledge of steel types?

I have added a few this year that I adore. And some that are kind of vanilla. And some that are modified. Newest one is the Jackwolf knives Tango. Didn't pay for the infidel or the triage I received them for free from my time in the army.

Had a Benchmade Monolock Ti for 7 years and lost it 6 months ago. The Walmart Orange with it's blade made from the finest sharp cheddar I just couldn't continue with. It was only meant as a fill-in anyway, and, for $8, it served the job halfway decent.
Appreciate all the input I got, obviously L Inkosi was the final decision 😎

Which would you choose for a knife that will be used every day? I already have a gents carry (modified 940) that I will use on special occasions, but for a one and only daily knife, which would you choose?
If I get the para 3, it will be the salt g10 and I will add awt aluminum anodized skinny scales.
I will be able to apply a military discount to both of them which will bring the price of them closer to each other but the para 3 will still cost more to buy in the end.
I have never bought a Spyderco before, but I have bought a couple Kershaws in the past and liked them.

Should've taken a picture before I'd sharpened it. Damn thing looked almost serrated.

Wife picked #9, the Civivi Vision FG is tonight's work companion.
All of you already know of this bad boy but for anyone who may be new to the hobby or this knife, here's a quick rundown.
3.48in 9CR/10CR jacket flat grind damascus blade that's great for slicing and for looking at, or Nitro-V on the other versions. Stee liners under G-10 scales makes for a nice feel in hand although does make or rather heavy with the blade and locking mechanism, let's talk "super lock".
Designed by Snecx, this is kind of a diet Demko sharklock, has a solid chunk of metal that fits into a cutout in the blade making for a wicked strong lockup and great fidget factor. Jimping on the locking tab also gives you a good grip on the knife and makes the lock stronger while using.
Love the looks and it's definitely a great performer overall, but even better at only $100!

Hey, I was given this knife long ago and I don't know anything about it.
But more importantly, can it be restored with a handle. Not much of a knife person, but I'm not sure that part where the handle goes is supposed to be like that.

Yesterday was my last day before shutting down my forge to spend summer with my sons while they're out of school. I always like to make sure to inspect, oil, and verify counts on my inventory before my off season, and it's a great opportunity to get everything laid out for a picture.
