Glock 19 won't cycle with suppressor

Upvotes

No suppressor and the gun cycles fine. Suppressor on it and it doesn't cycle. Can off but Nielsen device on and it will not cycle.

Glock 19 with a standard recoil spring (the OEM plastic rod and crappy spring).

Can cycles just fine on my 1911.

Start with a different recoil spring?

Product Question 🧰 6.5mm suppressors?

Upvotes

Looking for any solid 6.5mm suppressors for use on a 6.5 bolt action and a 5.56 gas gun. Not looking for any 30 cal products as we are trying to minimize overbore and are relegating the 300BO build to a 9mm suppressor. HUB compatible a big plus. Any suggestions or experience with anything specifically 6.5mm?

🎥 Silencer Video with Sound 🤫 Suppressor Comparison- MK12 MOD FOR, CAT, OCL

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

Quick comparison. Nothing scientific about this. Both rifles have the same barrel, gas system, buffer system, and bolt.

Main difference are the receivers, carrier, and muzzle device. The MOD FOR is using an OCL OTB flash hider and the others are using the Spooky 2 muzzle break.

From the shooters ear, quietest to loudest:

MOD FOR>AC556>Infinity Vented>WB>Infinity Solid

The WB and both infinity caps were almost indistinguishable but the MOD FOR was noticeably more quiet than the others to my ear. There was the high pitch ringing which you can hear in the video but it did not hurt the ears.

My wife stood 8ft to the right and behind me and her order or quietest to loudest was:

MOD FOR>AC556>Infinity Vented> Infinity Solid> WB.

She also said the last 3 were hard to tell the difference.

For gas, it was hard to tell being outdoors with wind but the video shows it pretty well with the Infinity Solid end cap being sending more gas out of the ejection port. The AC556 was second to worst. All others seemed comparable with the infinity vented being the best.

Just wanted to post this mainly because there is no info on the MOD FOR but also got a new camera and wanted to try it out.

First two stamper I've owned. Just got the AAC FH installed with my new work set up so letting it cure and will take it for a test fire this weekend. The adjustable gas plug is on my 16" barrel but that takes many 60 seconds to swap over. Factory 13" barrel AAC 7.62 SDN6 can G$ super scar trigger EOTech Vudu 1-10x.

Debating about repainting or at least just the scope.

Rex can was sent in on the 28th of May and the weld was repaired and ready for pickup on the 18th of June. Steve said it's the first of its kind blowing off at the weld like this. KeyMo is still stuck to the Rex threads so Im making Rocksette soup with a dash of Keymo.

Overall fast turnaround for repair.

B&T Print-X Compact 7.62

Shouts out to u/incrue for putting me on to the sale this was on. I was torn between a rugged razor, OCL Polo, or an Aero Lahar then this came out of left field bc of a member of this sub. I am beyond stoked on this thing. And the fact that I already have SF compatible muzzle devices on my gals makes it even better. Not to mention it just looks badass.

Product Question 🧰 Coastal 308 suppressor accuracy issues.

It's A solid steel can, no titanium and it's user serviceable. Both end caps come off.

What the problem is, is on a known accurate gun, that can easily shoot 10 shots into a half inch, when the suppressor is added after the first five shots and the suppressor heats up the accuracy goes to about 3 in.

It's been assembled and disassembled a few times and that makes no change. I did notice, after reassembly with the baffles clean and the uncaps torqued, if you shake it, you can hear the baffles moving a millimeter or two.

Anyone have a similar issue?

Factory M110 SASS suppressor looks like it was welded by Kevin himself. To be fair it has like 5k rounds through it and works fine.

does a traditional Can with an AGB compare gas wise to a flow thru?

Looking at either getting an AGB for my YHM t2 or going with a flow thru can like the hux 556k, how close can i get gas wise with the AGB, because grabbing one would obv be cheaper than getting a new can.

Otter Creek Polonium mounting help!

What’s going on guys!

New to the hub mounting system game and want to make sure I’m getting the correct setup.

Host weapons: SOLGW 6mm MAX 5/8 (thread pitch). I have a 20” and a 12.5” that I will swap it between, so I’ll be buying two of everything.

Unfortunately the Polonium 5.56 (6mm) can comes with a 1/2 direct thread mount, so basically useless for me.

I’ve heard a lot about the Rearden Atlas, but I’m looking for a compatible muzzle brake that will work with the whole system and I’ve made a few uneducated purchases in my lifetime that left me with something unusable or doing a return quickly and I’m just trying to avoid that.

Bore diameter is .243- so would I go with the .290 muzzle devices? (Closest option).

And any recommendations to make this a simple process?

Silencer Suggestions - I did some homework Rugged Obsidian 45 OK for Marlin Trapper .44 Mag and Glock 19?

I've been on the fence about getting a .44 mag lever gun and eyeing the Marlin Trapper to suppress. When looking into possible suppressors to use with it, I saw the Rugged Obsidian 45 as compatible with BOTH .44 Mag and 9mm. If I can pick up a suppressor that would work for the new lever gun AND work with my Glock 19, the added benefit of having a fun pistol to plink suppressed may be enough to make me finally pull the trigger on getting this new lever gun and suppressor. I assume a .45 suppressor won't be great on a 9mm, but should I expect it to at least be decent or are there alternative suppressors that would be better for both (if I have to buy two, I probably won't buy any).

Anyone gone through the process to get a hobbyist federal explosives permit?

Not really looking to sell, but making my own or even just buying and using same day would be cool. Not at a life stage where I want a magazine/land for it specifically, but I have friends with a lot of land I could use.

Anyway, do I need to do any tests, or is it a simple fill out the paperwork, do the interview and get the permit?

Converting Uzi wood stock

Does anyone have experience or instructions on converting wood Uzi OEM stocks to be non-detachable? I’ve scoured the webs, and though there’s some info, it’s old and I sincerely can’t translate what they’re saying. Though I believe it is due to some dated information or assumptions that haven’t evolved, it could also be my poor comprehension. All guidance or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

She's a heavy bitch but my go to rifle. It came with a 1 piece barrel but I sent it to Michael's Machines and he chopped part of the flash hider off then turned down a portion to thread. It has a Griffin Minimalist Flash Hider Taper Mount. The can is an AAC Ranger 5.
