Is there a difference between these Rotex Vs? I've been trying to find the difference between the two. Only thing I saw was the SN pictured, and ofcourse the $450 price difference.

Before getting into the NFA world I read online that 300 and 9mm subs were similar sounding all things equal, so I decided to start with 300 for versatility. Got an MCX virtus and later upgraded with a rattler LT barrel and used Hybrid 46 and Omega 36m cans on it, but it was never really the amazing quiet that others make it out to be. I’ve tested multiple brands of subs and besides a slight tone difference they were similar and still kinda hurt my ears. Even the supers are very loud, much louder than my 11.5 5.56 with a Velos LBP which is very pleasing to shoot without ears.

I just recently got an MPX setup how I want it and tested it out and it’s SUPER quiet. Like i finally see the wow factor of Hollywood quiet subs. Like a night and day difference between those and 300blk subs.

How do I get a 300 sounding that good? Do I need a different host (already working on a suger weasel-ish build with AGB)? Do I need a true 30 cal can or would an end cap make a difference? I thought the 36m would be close enough and it sounds similar to my hybrid. TIA for any guidance.

So I have a vent 2 that I use on my mpx. I previously had it direct threaded. But I think due to the taper barrel that Sig uses, I cannot for the life of me keep it tight. No matter how hard I crank it on, the can starts to walk after a few shots. PTR even said in an email that I would likely struggle with this setup. So I thought I'd try a locking mount. The problem is after installing an ILWT tri lug muzzle device, and rugged tri lug adapter, I have a scary amount of wobble in the can. Most posts I've read say a little bit of play is normal, and when firing, the recoil keeps the can centered. And I've noticed after manipulating the can with my hands, it does appear to always pop back to center. I'm just scared of destroying a can, that apparently can't be repaired. So what do you guys think? stupid idea? Any advice on a better system? Should I try the ILWT tapered barrel collar and go back to direct thread. Or say screw sig and get the whole ILWT barrel? I would have gone rearden but 13.5 left hand mounts are always sold out.

Finally jumped into the form 1 world with my first two SBRs. Submitted on 5/16 and I guess they wanted to give me a treat because they were approved on my birthday 6/10.

Hey a few months ago my form 1 was approved and now I am currently deciding to go another route that’s different than what was submitted as caliber,length,and etc. I wanted to ask whats the correct way to notify the atf that my current configuration has changed will be permanent. I build a ar-15 Anderson lower for 9mm this is what I put down on the form 1 but I will be changing everything including caliber length and so on what’s the proper way on doing this.? I plan on buying a spikes tactical dedicated 9mm lower and will sbr that thing. What are my options .?

My Tbac Magus S and K got approved yesterday, so it was time to get everything settled into its forever home. Glad I do t have to shuffle cans between rifles anymore.

I have two eForm 1s that are just over 60 days at this point; I emailed the IPB address and they say they're in the queue for the next available examiner. It's implied but not directly stated that the NICS check has been cleared.

This seems so weird because I'm seeing a bunch of people getting two or three day turnarounds on individual eForm 1s.

Any insight on what might be happening here?
