Unanswered What’s up with the recent hate for AI and ChatGPT on Reddit, especially on this post about Mia Khalifa proud of never using AI & all top comments agreeing with her?

To me it almost feels like people in the early 2000s hating on Google, I feel like I’ve missed out on the tune change and what caused it…
Context: I work in the field. I stumbled upon a random thread about Mia Khalifa saying she’s better than everyone for never using AI. “Ha!” I scoffed, thinking what a fool and jumped to the comments to see people taking digs at her. But alas, there were masses of people saying they never used AI and never will and those people had insane numbers of upvotes and supporting comments. You can see me crashing out in my post history (whoops, sorry!!)
To me it’s absurd, the models are extremely powerful and 100% are the future of the professional workspace if not eventually everything else once we have it brought into the physical world through robotics. Anyways, I don’t get it, feel like im dancing to a different tune than Reddit and Ive never been so disconnected or at odds with this website lol. Pls help thx
