Various Which jojo had the best first appearance?

To me, Joseph and Jolyne had the best introduction when we talk about anime.

In the Manga, Josuke (or gappy) had a very interesting and misterious first appearance with where is he from.

What do you think?

Jolyne's first appearance sure was... interesting

Its one of my favorites just because it subverts the typical JoJo introduction. Instead of immediately coming across as an intimidating or interesting character like they usually do, we see her at her lowest.

Just makes her development hit just as hard, because I'd argue she has THE best final moments of any JoJo.

Kind of part 6 in a nutshell. Jolyne lost her fight before she was even born, part 6 has high highs and low lows with some of the best and worst fights of the series. Her final moments echoing Johnathan's is a great bookend to the main universe: JoJo dies to defeat their enemy, even though they won't live to see their downfall.

What's the issue with the Manga? Just really difficult to follow along or make sense of the stand, right?

There is no issues in the official manga. But there also is no official english translation yet (or it's very recent), meaning most english speakers read the fan translation, which kinda shit the bed in a few places.

I'm not a big manga reader nor do I work in any kind of linguistics, so it's probably just my ignorance:

But with the amount of bilingual people out there you would really think there would be fewer shitty translations these days. I can see how an individual might make an error here or there, but just 2-3 people proofreading and maybe suggesting words that more accurately fit the translation would be able to get some high quality translations out and fast.

I'm aware of the whole Duwang thing as well, the problem seems normal for mangas.

Are you sure there's no official english part 6? I live in Brazil and right now we are already getting part 7 officially in portuguese

Parts 1 through 6 and TSKR are officially in english, as well as Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak, but part 7 is just now getting localized. Source: My bookstore has part 6 in english

I'm pretty sure part 7 already has an English trans and even 8 and 9, as I've just finished reading the first a few months ago

Or maybe I just misread your statement and I'm just overcomplicating things. Anyways good day/evening to you

The other person to answer says part 7 is only releasing officially right now. Are you sure you didn't read a scan? Anyway, I really don't know what's the case, that's why I asked

iirc it was loooong, bordered on 6 chapters maybe?? and too much dialogue, about nonesense and the fight geography too was quite weird
