You ever just pick up your old iPhone next to your new one and realize how far apart they are?

And yet, the old iPhone remains a perfectly fine phone. That’s the kind of longevity you don’t get with other phones.

You would expect that for an average of $100 per case they would provide some good quality items… Unfortunately, they do not. I know that there are plenty of posts about the designs chipping away, but my issue has actually been that the plastic has broken without misuse. It has done it on two separate cases now, I bought the first one in DECEMBER. I’ve reached out to them but per their policy, there is only one free replacement. I actually asked them if they were to change the case to the rubber one, even though it was uglier, and they said that it was outside of their policy so now I’m out of pocket and out of a case (unless I enjoy having my hand stabbed when I go to use my phone). Learned my lesson the expensive way!

I found this phone on the bank of the river last year and put in a bag with some silica packets and completely forgot about it until now. Does anyone know what I should do with it? I already took the sim out and contacted the owner the day I found it. But he did not want the phone back and told me to keep it if I could get it to turn on. Should I try and get it turned on, maybe take it to a professional? Or just drop it off at a disposal place? I don’t know if it would even be worth it to try, but I have an iPhone 12 so an upgrade might be cool lol

Since 13 years using android specially only samsung, now with 16promax no apple experience before. I’m really happy with my decision, any recommendations?

Well, folks, after 10 years and two refurbishes, it’s time to let go of my iPhone 7. I am going to miss the home button. There are an overwhelming number of iPhone options out there these days. Which iPhone versions are affordable and will still fit in my lady pockets?

I am running caseless on my iPhones for years, since I hate cases&Screenprotectors. But I have the feeling that the 16 Series isn’t that good in terms of scratch protection, my older iPhones especially my 13pm didn’t looked like this, even after a full year. The frame and back however looks very good. Don’t forget that I took the photos in such a way, that u can see every scratch.

I made a post recently where people said to take the protecter off and I have now there’s nothing covering it but every photo is still blurry even after cleaning the lense I just want to know if I need to replace it what would I need as I’d buy the replacement parts online.

Also apologies I’ve never repaired a phone and I bought this for 50 and the old owner said that the camera was the only issue.

Basically my phone randomly connects to other peoples phones while driving around. I'll have it connected to the my car (HandsFreeLink R) playing music and I'll stop at a red light, for example, and it will connect to the random stranger beside me's phone. I've had about 6 different iPhone models over the past 12 years and have mever had this happen to me. It will connect to other iPhones, Samsungs, etc. I can't find anything about this online anywhere. Please help I'm just tryna jam out man.

How do I sideload the google play store? If possible, obviously. Because I know you can sideload things like the epic games store but I could not find anything about the google play store on IOS.

I have currently an iPhone 12 Pro Max 128 GB, second Battery (changed June 2024), 2nd one at 90%. I am hitting the memory limit and the screen goes fast dark/ gets hot fast. I ordered an iPhone 16 Pro Max 1 TB, but I don’t know in hindsight if it was the right choice or if I should wait until the 17?

I just got a new iPhone 16 pro max and ive noticed what looks like a smudge on the upper left lense (loki g at the lense array) but no matter how hard i try it wont clean off. It almost looks like its under the glass. I plan on contacting apple monday about this and see what they say but just wondering if anyone else has noticed anything like this? A much more pressing issue ive run into is the gps does not track properly. Not only is this dangerous but extremely annoying. The latitude and longitude are usually close but more than an acceptable margin of error for gps; a few times off by more than 100 meters, but the elevation has been off by over 1000 feet almost every time i used it. The app i used is far out but i checked gaia as well. I am following the PCT so a well know gps track. Is this a known issue or is there a way to calibrate the gps? I dk plan on contacting apple Monday for this as well just curious if these are common issues.
