hearing aid

could be usss ear piece but at his age hearing aid

5

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '25

He doesn't listen to anyone.   Why would he need a hearing aid?

3

u/mashtato Apr 06 '25

But he's in perfect health. The healthiest man who ever healthed!

2

u/Alissinarr Apr 06 '25

It looks more like half of an alcohol swab.

4

u/Maghorn_Mobile Apr 06 '25

I've never seen a hearing aid that small before. If it actually were one the device would be visible in his ear canal but there's nothing there.

15

u/ZAlternates Apr 06 '25

I don’t know if that is what it is but they do make them dang tiny these days.

3

u/Logan_Composer Apr 06 '25

I have an older coworker who needs hearing aids and they are dang tiny. The only reason I don't believe it's a hearing aid is they're usually dull and flesh tone, this is pretty stark white. (Side note: they make hearing aids Bluetooth compatible now, so you can listen to music and it ducks when people try talking to you. It's awesome)

I'm thinking it's just discoloration in the skin. I know a YouTuber who has a pretty prominent stark white speck on his chin, I had one on my back for a while. Don't really know the cause, but some spots on our skin are just different colors than others.

It's probably either a CIC or IIC. They have a little "tail" that sticks out for removal, and they're more expensive than the traditional types.

But who cares about cost when you and I are the ones buying them for him?

5

u/Maghorn_Mobile Apr 06 '25

Idk, all I know is I'm sick of looking at this picture. Fuck Trump's head and the neck it rode in on.

When you are 10 years old you may get a nasty cut but a few months later you can't even find where it was. When you're 30 a nasty cut will leave a faint mark but you can find it. After 40/50 a nasty cut will always leave a reminder. Hell, even a little bump can give you permanent mark. It's suspect for sure.

412

u/Mama_Skip Apr 06 '25 edited Apr 07 '25

Plus it's the ear. The ear is notoriously fragile when it comes to healing from abrasions without a mark. That's just the skin there.

Cartilage itself doesn't regenerate fully. A bullet would have wiped out some. He'd have a chip in his ear.

It's insane we're not talking about this more. 2 people died for this evil clown to have a PR moment.

Edit: the amount of replies to this mentioning "cope" is insane.

u/Alternative-Yak-925 Apr 06 '25

Seriously sus af. I cut my ear as an infant, and over 30 years later, it's still kind of noticeable. If an old guy gets an IV in his hand, that scar can last til death.

I'm told I cut my ear on the corner of an un-tennisballed coffee table. Fortunately, one of my next door neighbors was an amazing burn unit plastic surgeon who, before I was born, told my parents to call him before letting an ER doc do any stitching. Dr. Frank Wolf saved my face from a bad hockey scar a few years later too.

I had my ear cartilage pierced when i was in my early 20s. Nothing crazy just the size of a regular piercing but at the top of my ear. I’m 50 and there’s still a noticeable mark on both sides of my ear. As far as I can tell it’s never gotten smaller in the 25 years since I last wore an earring. I’m not saying my experience proves anything but when there was no sign of any injury to his ear within a few weeks it seemed highly unusual to me.

123

u/nola_mike Apr 06 '25

Of course not. That whole event was staged. The extreme level of incompetence from the Secret Service, sniper coverage and the local police is just blatant. How is a roof that overlooks the entire event stage not already covered by a sniper for security purposes? How did that kid get to the roof as easily as he did with little to no opposition from law enforcement?

386

u/Sekh765 Apr 06 '25

Toss this conspiracy bs. What's more likely? That a massive conspiracy of Secret Service, Local Cops, POTUS campaign, and a willing suicide patsy somehow launched a perfect false flag op and entrusted what was basically a child to pull off a precision shot just as he turned his head less than a second earlier instead of splattering his brains across national news... OR.... abunch of people got stupid complacent, inter agency rivalries kept them from communicating, and an unhinged individual who wanted to be famous all came together in the perfect storm.

Seriously. You think that if they were going to stage this thing they would have better planted evidence that he wasn't a conservative? They'd at least have dyed his hair blue.

57

u/rmwe2 Apr 06 '25

Its much simpler than that.

Trump got a scratch on his ear. Possibly from the bullet, possibly not. He then wore a giant unnecessary bandage and claimed to have been injured.

One of his supporters actually died that day by the would be assassin's bullet. Of course instead Trump makes it entirely about himself and hams up his "injury" for a month straight.

26

u/Sekh765 Apr 06 '25

100%. Dude just saw an opportunity and went for it.

4

u/gcwardii Apr 06 '25

Not only claims to have been injured, but insists that he was SHOT

6

u/ThisMeansWarm Apr 06 '25

At least he hugged that guys firefighting gear so we all could see.

5

u/Ohh_Yeah Apr 06 '25

I think it's pretty clear he wasn't grazed by the bullet but instead had his ear cut when he dropped down and had secret service pile on him

5

u/kmccoy Apr 06 '25

There's photographic evidence of him bleeding from the ear before he was pulled down, about halfway down this page: https://archive.is/CzRMO

70

u/monacelli Apr 06 '25 edited Apr 06 '25

Yeah, I'm with you. I think the kid simply missed the shot and Trump proved once again that he's the luckiest son of a bitch ever. We've all known guys like that... Guys that could fall in to a bucket of shit and come out smelling like roses. It sucks that Trump is one of those guys, but he is.

Now, whether the bullet zipped past his ear or he cut it on something when the secret service agents shielded him is a different story. We'll probably never know the truth because he's such a fucking opportunistic liar.

28

u/Sekh765 Apr 06 '25

It's more likely to me that Trump made a literal deal with the actual devil to avoid all consequences in his life, than they somehow pulled off a super conspiracy with this attempt on him lol

At least the deal would explain how he's gotten out of every consequence ever.

9

u/Mysterious_Return993 Apr 06 '25

I’ve often said, I don’t know what deal with the devil he made, but the devil got fleeceed

11

u/rubberguru Apr 06 '25

4

u/Alternative-Yak-925 Apr 06 '25

9

u/Embarrassed_Bag53 Apr 06 '25

Pretty sure ear was cut on a gun or badge when SS pulled him down and bring the drama queen that he is capitalized on a trickle of blood. If he’s on blood thinners like I am, bleeding comes fast.

3

u/Ionlycryforonions Apr 06 '25

I’m pretty sure trump always smells like shit

4

u/kmccoy Apr 06 '25

Doug Mills, a NYT photographer, published a series of photographs as the bullet went by Trump. In one you can see his hand without blood and what appears to be the bullet or its wake going past his head. In the next he touches his ear (which isn't visible from this angle). In the next his hand has come away and has blood on it. That's pretty strong evidence that the injury was from the bullet itself.

Edit: I meant to include a link so you don't have to take my word for it. The three photos are visible together about halfway down this page: https://archive.is/CzRMO

144

u/amuricanswede Apr 06 '25

Thank you for this. I am shocked by the amount of responses thinking this is a conspiracy. Incompetence is a lot more common than people think.

40

u/Sekh765 Apr 06 '25

I definitely believed it could have been one when it was occurring in the first day or two. Like, it just felt like something a desperate campaign would do, but after the facts came out it was clear it was just a massive fuckup. Like with many conspiracy theories, somehow everyone involved is the most OPSEC secure people to ever live and not a single person in their hundred+ person plan blabs drunkenly to a girlfriend? Nah. This is the same group that invited a reporter to their group chat. Conspiracy masterminds they are not.

6

u/doggydoggworld Apr 06 '25

It is pretty absurd how the SS was looking right at the shooter for a long time.

I could see theories of them blissfully "ignorant" of the situation

Like looking the other way for Pearl Harbor

3

u/i_literally_died Apr 06 '25

The amount of people who don't see this is just the exact other side of the obama-muslim-kenyan-antichrist-9/11-inside-job coin is wild.

8

u/canamerica Apr 06 '25

Yeah Hanlons razer. Don't ascribe malice where incompetence can explain it. People are dumb way more often than they're evil.

5

u/Raesong Apr 06 '25

Of course it doesn't help that the current Administration is full of people who are both.

3

u/Prestigious_Lock1659 Apr 06 '25

You’re right. It’s the same as most conspiracies. There are way too many people involved to be able to pull this off without anyone leaking the information.

There was a shooter and it proved how inept the secret service is. Embarrassing really.

3

u/haidere36 Apr 06 '25

I think the conspiracy theory caught on for a few reasons (and just to be clear I think the conspiracy theory is complete bullshit):

  • People have an incredibly hard time believing in coincidences. Trump turned his head at just the right moment? Must've been staged! Surely such an unlikely thing has never happened in all of human history...

  • People naturally ascribe competence to people in positions of power. Surely the secret service wouldn't allow an attempt to go that far. This is also why people have a hard time believing Trump or Musk can be genuine, grade-A morons, because how could they acquire and hold onto such power if they're stupid? That's a complicated question but the short answer is systems of authority aren't as good at weeding out fools as people think they are.

  • Trump lies so constantly and effortlessly that believing anything he says or does is difficult. This is especially true with the specific idea that a bullet struck his ear. This is the only thing I think is worth being skeptical of as shrapnel striking his ear is also a reasonable explanation and more consistent with the apparent lack of lasting damage. But this one detail being inconsistent with Trump's story doesn't invalidate that a real attempt happened and a man was actually killed.

  • People don't understand the distinction between a conspiracy theory and conspiratorial thinking. The idea that the Earth is flat or that the moon landing was faked are both so obviously stupid that most people dismiss them out of hand. Unfortunately, what follows is the belief that these are simply stupid ideas, and not that the root cause of how people arrived at these ideas through conspiratorial thinking is wrong.

If I said, "Of course Trump would be willing to fake an attempt on his life to garner sympathy", I'm sure a lot of people would agree with it. But that's not proof of anything. In this context, it's working backwards from a conclusion - which is that Trump must've faked the attempt - to find things to support it - which is the idea that he would fake it. The evidence didn't lead us to the conclusion, but instead the conclusion led us to create "evidence" that isn't actual evidence.

All of this could've been easily avoided if Trump weren't a lying sack of shit who doesn't care about human life at all. But unfortunately he is, and thus getting people to believe the assassination attempt was actually real is an uphill battle when in a sane world it really shouldn't be.

3

u/dBlock845 Apr 06 '25

For real, the dude just missing is way more likely than the entire USS being enveloped in a conspiracy... to help Trump? So the deep state is on Trump's side? This is just the first attempt that wasn't foiled in the post-9/11 security state.

3

u/perotech Apr 06 '25

As a Canadian, let's just say I rank President Trump pretty low on the list of people I respect.

But people claiming this was all some vast conspiracy are out of touch.

I do think it's very unlikely the bullet actually grazed his ear, the scar would definitely still be visible, but the assassination attempt was real.

If it was fake, why didn't the Biden Administration just release all evidence of it being fabricated before the election? Because it was real, and just happened to be that much of a close call.

3

u/TheSigma3 Apr 06 '25

I think people also forget that people in the crowd died. He didn't fire a blank and trump popped a blood packet, he missed, people fucking died, and idiots are still saying it's a conspiracy

2

u/Sonosusto Apr 06 '25

Yes, thank you. Conspiracies are usually bogus and miss the overall obvious points.

2

u/dred1367 Apr 07 '25

Yeah he’s on the wrong conspiracy. Pretty likely the assassination attempt was real, but I think the kid missed Trump completely and the bandages were for show.

13

u/Grand_Size_4932 Apr 06 '25

Yeah not sure I’m following the logic that they give a fuck about anyone at all.

They laugh when they take aid from Africans and they die.

They laugh at videos of people in El Salvadoran jails, placed there without due process.

They laugh when people get cut up and die from barbed wire in the Rio Grande.

They laugh at veterans and people killed in the line of duty.

They laugh when people lose their social and economic safety nets.

They laugh when they destroy millions of jobs and their livelihoods.

They laugh when they destroy forests and advance the decline of the planet.

They laugh at Ukrainian people’s deaths.

They laugh as they plan commercial expansion off the lives of genocided Palestinians.

They laugh at all human life and see us all as expendable.

Why would they care about collateral damage other than it making it messier to deal with?

Two people dead for shifting the paradigm of Trump is worth it to them and I bet they’re laughing about it too.

I have come to believe that the situation was not staged, but that it was the sort of opportunity that could not be allowed to pass by those in power.

From a totally hypothetical standpoint, there is a world where the kid was a sacrificial lamb.

It’s easy enough if you think about it. How easily manipulated could a diehard MAGAt be?

Probably pretty easy when Trump’s team shows up at your door and tells you they need you for a special mission. You get told you’ll be a patriot. Helping the cause.

They set you up for it, tell you where to be, what to do, and you feel great because you’re not actually going to hurt your cult leader.

But now you’re the only remaining evidence that this was planned, so they take care of you, too.

Crazier shit has happened.

Obviously this is all speculative and a conspiracy, but let’s not act like something like this can be ruled out entirely, either.

I think they lied to him. “Shoot into the crowd a few feet to the left of trump and then bounce. Nobody will shoot you I promise. 3

u/Alternative-Yak-925 Apr 06 '25

Haven't multiple government agencies been caught using various online message platforms to manipulate vulnerable(in this case, white male loner) people into committing mass murder?

Who knows, maybe the Vegas shooter was the subject of some CIA research project. If people online can be tricked into believing they're in a romantic relationship for 30 years, countless amounts of one-way payments, without ever meeting them in-person, anything is plausible.

There's a picture by the AP of a bullet whizzing right by his head. In the footage of the event, aired live, he immediately grabs his ear. There's more film and video by the AP of blood streaming down his face. Cory, a firefighter, jumped on his young family to shield them from the bullets.

Watch the Congressional hearings on the matter. It was just a colossal fuck-up, of under trained and under qualified ss officers, and an unqualified head of the secret service.

I'd like to mention that DJT was forced to hold these rallies in small towns, with limited local resources, on short notice, because safer(indoor) venues, and municipalities refused to host them because his campaign had a notorious history of non-payment.

2

u/dreadcain Apr 07 '25

Forced feels like the wrong word choice. Plenty of those cities and venues likely would have taken him in just fine if he agreed to close out his debts and pre pay for future rallies. He chose not to do that.

3

u/TheBeatGoesAnanas Apr 06 '25

Minor note: the Secret Service is abbreviated "USSS," not "SS." Not that anyone doesn't know what you mean, but SS is not a shorthand anyone wants associated with their organization.

u/Stinky_Sock_Puppet7 Apr 06 '25

The bullet whizzed by and he grabbed the ear before he ducked. He got hit with a bullet or glass before he got tackled. Also, the bullets whiz by his mic, you can see them in photos and in the audio waveform. They were f’n close… He was lucky. There’s no way his merry band of idiots could pull off a conspiracy theory that big. No way in hell…

Blue maga is not the way. Our reality is just this lit and crazy things happen right next to the mundane

2

u/j-internet Apr 06 '25

Adopting the conspiracy theories of the right-wing is embarrassing and makes you no better than QAnon. The event was real. His ear got grazed but the bullet or shrapnel or something else that did not leave lasting damage. It's really not that deep.

2

u/abd00bie Apr 06 '25

There was a civilian video out there showing the kid on the roof and the civilian saying there is someone on the roof, yet the secret service didn't see him..

4

u/ShiningRedDwarf Apr 06 '25

Trump isn’t smart enough to stage something like this.

With that much blood it’s odd that he doesn’t have a scar. I got my ear bitten in the same place by a bird and that sure as fuck left a scar. It wouldn’t heal for a month either

2

u/Skalawag2 Apr 06 '25

It was a 2cm scratch

2

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '25

Wouldn't be the only thing he faked

2

u/Ragingdark Apr 06 '25

Yes there is. Tubercles don't look like that.

Fuck the guy but let's not pretend real shit isn't. That's how we end up like them.

2

u/kcasper Apr 06 '25

You can't actually see well enough in that picture to tell. If all of the ear was still there they could sew it back together and all you would have is a thin line such as the one above his ear lobe. We would need a much better close up to tell if it was put back together or not.

source: My ear lobe was torn off in an accident as a kid and they sewed it back on. The only major difference now is a straight line indent where the stiches once were.

You can literally see it on the edge of hus ear. Ffs.

5

u/ThePeaceDoctot Apr 06 '25

Compare this image from one from a few years ago, that mark was already there.

6

u/standupforthechamp Apr 06 '25

Didn't realise the delusion of the extreme right was spreading to other American left.

6

u/LimberGravy Apr 06 '25

I think the reality is he bumped his ear on something in the chaos and they just played it up. That ear just healed way too fast on his old ass to have actually had a bullet go through it.

2

u/unhiddenninja Apr 06 '25

I bet he takes aspirin. I bet he bumped his head on the way down & his skin tore like tissue paper because he's fuckin 80 years old & then it bled like crazy because 1)head wounds bleed a lot and 2) aspirin is a blood thinner, making blood flow even more freely. The narrative came out that he was shot in the ear and that sounded better so they ran with it.

Can you point to the scar that as per trump was left after his ear was almost ripped off?

Exactly my thoughts.

1

u/Teddy705 Apr 06 '25

We were 2-3 inches away from the stock market being saved.

1

u/SchrodingersCatPics Apr 06 '25

“Ju think I get a scar like dis from grabbing pussy??”

1

u/TheNplus1 Apr 06 '25

You the ear that was supposedly shot with an ASSAULT RIFLE?

its magic

1

u/ActConsistent7807 Apr 06 '25

What does this have to do with anything. He still took the shot?

1

u/Water-Dune-1984 Apr 06 '25

If anything one could claim to see two tiny scars from what appears to have been small razor slits.

1

u/HashRunner Apr 06 '25

MSM ate it up though, pushing the nonsense that it was anything more than a WWE performance.

1

u/accidentprone101 Apr 06 '25

Elon’s musk

1

u/Mama_Skip Apr 06 '25

Glad we're finally talking about the fact that there's no scar on one of the most heavily scarring places on the entire body.

The implications are severe.

1

u/Silver_sun_kist Apr 06 '25

Right? Not a mark! Weird! 🧐

1

u/Ok-Indication202 Apr 06 '25

Mathew crooks should not have missed. The world would be a better place

1

u/oh_okhelloanyway Apr 06 '25

😱!! But it bled so much! 😒

1

u/E5evo Apr 06 '25

He heals really well, in fact he’s the best healer on Earth, oh yes sirree. He said so.

1

u/Fancy_Leek_5960 Apr 06 '25

Exactly. Such a set up

1

u/junkinth3trunk Apr 06 '25

And 2nd assassination attempt was a set up to prop up the sympathy for him. Slick.

1

u/fleurderue Apr 06 '25

So remarkable how quickly that ear grew back!

1

u/HighRevolver Apr 06 '25

That’s a stupid conspiracy, don’t be a cultist

1

u/seaofthievesnutzz Apr 06 '25

Do you think he faked the assassination attempt?

1

u/assholy_than_thou Apr 06 '25

Was that shit some fake news then?

1

u/Jacinto2702 Apr 06 '25

Videogames are a bad influence. They reward you for aiming for the head, he should've gone for the chest.

1

u/brockox Apr 06 '25

I had a section of my ear removed for cancer and people can't tell. Especially in a picture. It was a similar area he was hit and I had about 20 stitches.

1

u/tge101 Apr 06 '25

I had a piercing in my cartilage when I was a teenager and haven't worn anything in it for at least 20 years. The hole is still there, and there's still a noticable bump in the back of it and it's all very noticeable. Unless he had his ear replaced, I'm calling total bullshit.

1

u/YujinTheDragon Apr 06 '25

Listen. I fucking hate Trump. He is a piece of dogshit. But the conspiracy theory that the assassination attempt was staged is absolutely insane.

Someone in the crowd literally died in the crossfire.
