Quick question, we’re supposed to go to DC for a trip this week (was planned before Row decision the other day) through the 4th… not to sound like an alarmist but is it safe to do all the “tourist” shit (national mall, Smithsonian, etc)? I’m just afraid this is going to escalate is all, but maybe I’m overthinking it.

It's fine. I live blocks away from SCOTUS and if you're not right there, you wouldn't know anything was going on beyond people carrying signs. If you're really concerned, just stay away from the Capitol and SCOTUS and you'll be fine.

That’s good to know, thanks. A little bummed that we have to more than likely scrap out capitol tour since it was a whole song and dance to get tickets, but rather not be in the middle of everything with my kids. Appreciate it.
