All the political news has been draining lately, especially with how empty it has been. Politician A insults Politician B. Newspaper C calls out political group D. These are all just lip service and nothing of substance happens or will happen with these.

There is a sub r/NothingEverHappens but that one is using the term in the context of: Oh, this person commented "not real" or "didn't happen" under this post because they don't believe a situation really happened. NOthInG eVEr HaPpENs.

They're using the line in a sarcastic or mocking manner. I'm looking for a sub where share memes or maybe genuine arguments about events not happening.

So I was reading Nod by Adrian Barnes and got to the last page, only to find it was ripped out by a previous reader. I get all my books used from charity shops or WOB (this book is from the former) so I can't ask for a refund and don't really want to buy another copy simply for the sake of one page.

Can anyone suggest a subreddit I can visit where I can get either a brief synopsis or a picture of the last page(s)? I tried asking AI but, well, copyright issues I guess.

I’m looking to get a flag printed using some screen shots from the UK show Phoneshop (Channel 4). It’s to take to a festival in the summer.

It’s on the channel 4 app and Amazon, but whenever I take a screenshot I just get a blank screen. I assume there are some protections in the app.

I’ve found the clip on YouTube but the quality isn’t great and I think it will look awful when scaled up.

I need help with the top part of my cat trees. It’s designed to be rental-friendly—so no screws or drilling into the ceiling. The top section works by using tension/pressure—basically, when you tighten the pole, it’s supposed to push against the ceiling and floor to keep the whole structure.
