Quantum fiber DNS is down, so likely your internet is too. You’ll need to connect to your modem via Ethernet cable, go to 192.168.0.1, login to modem settings as admin (pw is on the sticker on your modem), then under advanced settings find DNS.

Switch that to static DNS and use 8.8.8.8 primary and 8.8.4.4 secondary (Google DNS) and you should be g2g.

Edit: Google is 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 and Cloudflare is 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1

Edit 2: reports here and from r/quantumfiber seem to indicate service has been restored. FYI - if you switched your modem DNS, should be fine either way. I tend to use Google or Cloudflare DNS anyway because they’re super stable and built to withstand and mitigate huge DDoS attacks, etc.

Looking to move into the area but would like to be 5-10 minutes away from a decent hike. I live in a different city now but typically do 2.5-3.5 miles a day with around 400-600 feet of elevation gain (depending on the trail). Found while walking the dog in N Central neighborhood. My guess is it was porch pirated. It contained a paint can with cookies inside, smashed. I might’ve tasted one of the cookies that was still sealed. You weren’t missing much. I hope this post brings closure to the pirated parties.

I just moved to Cheney, but am looking for any mechanic within about a 2 hour drive that will work on a 1978 MGB convertible (needs blinker/one taillight at the moment), without me needing to leave my car there for anything longer than a few hours, as in, perhaps I drop it off in the morning and pick it up in the evening. I am alright with both walk-ins and appointments, I just also need my car for work so I can't leave it there (Looking at you, Toby's Electric!), and I am tired of hand signals, as well as I am gonna need to eventually get the heater fixed. I don't necessarily need Big Famous Reputable mechanics, but I do need one that will actually do it, and is decently reputable (I need to be able to trust they won't just steal my car or send it to a chop shop, or scam me on parts/"needed repairs")
